New Delhi: Is UPA on an image-building spree on the last day of the Lok Sabha, eyeing the forthcoming polls? After passing the high-voltage Telangana Bill, it is now planning to introduce six anti-corruption Bills in one day and pass them.
These bills are projected to make Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi as the true anti-corruption crusader. The bills include the Judicial Standards and Accountability Bill, the Whistle Blowers Protection Bill, and the Time Bound Delivery of Goods and Services and Grievance Redressal Bill.
“It will be my effort till the end to see the anti-corruption Bills, at least some of them, are passed. BJP must come forward and say that we would like to pass them,” said Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kamal Nath.
