French club Grenoble have signed South African second row forward Ross Skeate and rising All Blacks’ talent Rory Grice for next season, the Top 14 outfit confirmed on Friday.
The 31-year-old Skeate is familiar with French rugby after spending two years with Toulon between 2008 and 2010 before joining current second division club Agen.
He is also a veteran of Southern Hemisphere rugby, including the Currie Cup, having played for Western Province, the Natal Sharks and the Stormers.
The twenty-one-year old Grice, who operates at flanker, helped the under-20 All Blacks win the 2010 World Cup and has also played international sevens rugby, as he signs from the Waitkato Sevens.
The club also confirmed they had offered a two-year contract extension to Australian forward Ben Hand who has made 18 appearances this season.
Grenoble are currently sixth in the Top 14, and clinging to the final playoff spot for the French championship, as they get set to visit lower table Brive on Saturday.
