Washington: The ibiboGroup has reportedly acquired India based bus analytics startup YourBus.in. The company, however, did not disclose the financial terms of the transaction.

A GPS-based bus tracking and analytics platform, YourBus.in provides real-time information to travelers and bus operators. According to Tech Crunch, the group plans on integrating the YourBus platform with both its existing online travel properties, redBus.in and Goibibo.com, while the YourBus founder and his team will be joining redBus.

Ashish Kashyap, CEO of ibiboGroup said the key motivation to acquire YourBus is to enhance passenger experience at redBus.in and Goibibo.com, whilst at the same time providing additional technologies and analytics to the Bus operators so as to increase their efficiencies in the marketplace.

Kashyap said passengers will have the ability to track the location of the bus, departure and arrival time, intimation on delays as well as location of boarding points and the Bus operators listed on redBus.in will get access to analytics related efficiency of their buses.
