Gurgaon: Commuters of Rapid Metro in Gurgaon will experience the free Wi-Fi access in the 5.1 km long corridor. Sistema Shyam Teleservices, which operates under MTS brand name, has partnered with Rapid Metro Rail Gurgaon Ltd. for providing this service.
Out of six stations, MTS is providing free Wi-Fi access at four stations i.e. Sikanderpur, IndusInd Bank Cyber City, Phase 2 and Micromax Moulsari Avenue.
MTSÂ has set up five kiosks on four Rapid Metro stations where commuters can procure Wi-Fi coupons. The service, which the company says will be experienced by 30,000 daily commuters, will remain free for six months.
With most of the daily commuters using smartphones and tablets, people will experience fast and consistent data speeds on MTS 3G plus network.
