New Delhi: Deputy Secretary of State William Burns on Thursday had discussions with Foreign Secretary to chalk out the path to the forthcoming Strategic Dialogue as well as Prime Minister’s Summit meeting with President Obama.
The discussions centered on all aspects of our bilateral relations, particularly economic engagement. The two senior diplomats also exchanged a variety of regional and international issues including situation in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Deputy Secretary of State would be meeting the External Affairs Minister later today.
