Tokyo: Prime Minister Narendra Modi pitched food and travel in India to IT experts in Japan, promising a learning experience.Â
“I can tell you that even if you stay for six months and want to enjoy a new dish daily, you will not have to repeat a dish,” Modi said while speaking at the Tata Consultancy Services (TCS)-Japan Tech and Cultural Academy in Tokyo.
He suggested that on their visit to India, they must travel across the country.Â
“If you stay in India, do not remain in TCS rooms daily. Take time out and travel. You will learn as much outside your rooms as you will learn inside them,” he said.
On a five-day visit to Japan, the prime minister has interacted with school children and businessmen apart from visiting temples. On his itinerary on Tuesday are a visit to Emperor Akihito and meet important regional leaders in Tokyo.
