New Delhi: As the grapevine has it, J N Chaudhury may be appointed as the next IB chief. He is a 1978 batch IPS officer of Assam-Meghalaya cadre .Â
Chaudhury has served in the IB for several years. These days he is frequently seen in the company of Ajit Doval.
