New Delhi: As the grapevine has it, Jayant Prasad is in the race of DG, IDSA (Institute of Defence Studies and Analyses). The retired IFS officer, has in past, served as Indian envoy to Afghanistan and Nepal.

The coveted post of DG, IDSA has been lying vacant since August this year.
