New Delhi: At least one person was killed and two others seriously injured as a speeding Audi SUV hit a dumper truck late on Monday night in central Delhi’s Barakhambha Road.
There were four people inside the Audi, who were returning home after attending a wedding.
According to reports, it took the police nearly a half an hour to pull the driver out of the vehicle. He was declared brought dead when taken to the nearby Ram Manohar Lohia hospital.
Such was the force of the impact that the front end of the car was completely crushed. Two survivors are now battling for life and one of them has also lost vision in one of his eye.
