Assassins Creed to hit theatres in December 2016

Date:

Washington: 20th Century Fox’s ‘Assassin’s Creed’ has been set for a December 2016 theatrical release.

The Michael Fassbender-starrer, which is based on Ubisoft’s popular video games, was originally scheduled for August 7, 2016, but was pushed back late last year.

Meanwhile, Fox has also dated its new ‘X-Men’ spinoff ‘Gambit’ for October 2016 release and declared that Channing Tatum will star as the card-shooting mutant Remy LeBeau.

The character had first appeared in ‘X-Men Origins: Wolverine’, where Canadian actor Taylor Kitsch had played the part.
