Bikers club unveil WERE ONE 2015 calendar

New Delhi: Bikers across the motorcycling clubs and brands assembled in the capital on Sunday for the calendar launch of the third edition of WE’RE ONE 2015, under the flagship of “Bikers for Good (BFG)”.

It was a roaring event as the event began with a ride flags-off from South Extension to Aero City, where the final look of WE’RE ONE 2015 was revealed.

This year theme for the calendar is safer riding and it features some of the best motorcycle clubs from Delhi as well as cult brands like Harley Davidson and Indian Motorcycle.

“Over the past few months, we have personally conceptualized and shot every picture for the Calendar, and that is what makes it a collector’s special”, said Jeet Kandhari, the admin of Bikers for Good (BFG).

Mohit Ahuja, Founder of Bikers for Good (BFG) said, “no matter what club or community you belong to; no matter which bike you ride. If you care for the society and believe in responsible biking, this is where you need to be. What I started as a motorcycle community aimed at serving the society in 2011 from 1 man has now grown to a good 6,000+ members across India.”

Amritika Phool, Member of the Animal Welfare Board of India by profession and a biker by choice remarked, “it’s a joy riding these bikes; I have been riding for 30 years. Safety is an important aspect of biking, it is important to know about your surrounding and have the right safety gears. It feels great when people walk up to me and say that I am an inspiration for many.”

Referring about the safety aspect, Saranbir Singh, the owner of Moto Madness, and the gear partner for the event added, “Biking is fun but only if you’re riding safe and wearing proper safety gear, that is what we at Moto Madness aim for, All the Gear, All the time.”

One of the bikers group ‘Brothers on Bike (BOB)’ present at the event said, “we are six months old group and we ride to explore the most beautiful and untouched places with priority to keep our immense biker brotherhood always intact.” Himanshu Verma, one of the active biker from group pointed, “We respect our machines and never indulge in racing or performing stunts.”
