Sonam Kapoor shows signs of recovery from swine flu

Date:

Mumbai: Sonam Kapoor, who is admitted to Kokliaben Hospital in Mumbai after she was tested positive for swine flu, is recovering well.

The actor was admitted to a Rajkot Hospital after she complained of cough, cold and fever on the sets of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. She was tested positive for swine flu and was then flown to Mumbai on Sunday.

According to the representative, there are too many “unofficial and irresponsible statements being made on Sonam’s behalf” and that’s the reason why they have released a statement to make things clear.

“We are releasing this statement to set the record straight. Sonam has been detected with swine flu but it’s under control,” Sonam’s publicists said in a statement.

“She’s been shifted to a hospital in mumbai and she’s showing signs of a speedy recovery. Hopefully she should be back at work soon. We thank all her fans and the industry alike for the love and support they have shown her,” the publicists added.

She was admitted to Kokilaben Ambani hospital in Mumbai last month also after contacting a respiratory infection.
