New Delhi: A few years back, Rishi Kapoor was the chocolate boy. Today, he’s graduated from that, not to play a father’s role, but to play grandad! Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor, who is considered as the best actor in Kapoor clan, will be soon playing an 80-year-old man in Divya Khosla Kumar’s next musical venture, ‘Sanam Re’.
Rishi, who was earlier sceptical of playing even a father’s role in films, will be seen as Pulkit Samrat’s grandfather in the flick.
The actor, who plays the character of a photography shop owner in Tanakpur in the film set in the 80s, took 4-5 hours to get his make-up done every day but never complained.
Kapoor who is quite active on the micro blogging site twitter, shared a picture and called it ‘cool’.
This film also stars Yami Gautam and Urvashi Rautela.
Apart from ‘Sanam Re,’ Kapoor will be seen playing the role of a father to Abhishek Bachchan in ‘All is Well.’
