45 coal miners trapped in colliery in West Bengal

Pandaveswar: At least 45 coal miners of Eastern Coalfield Limited in Pandaveswar are stuck inside the coal mines for last 12 hours because of the technical clinch in the broiler. The coal mines are located in Burdwan in West Bengal.

According to officials the trolley of the mine is not working because of the broiler problem.

Even though food and water are being sent to the trapped miners, one miner has reportedly fallen sick. Other workers of the mine allege ECL management of negligence.

Senior ECL official say all miners will be brought out soon.

ECL operates two coal mines Khottadih and Dalurband in Pandaveswar.
