Fashion police impressed with Ash’s Cannes campaign

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who is the ambassador of international cosmetic brand, L’Oreal Paris, created quite a stir with her latest fashion pick at the ongoing 68th Cannes Annual Film Festival.

Aishwarya, who completes a decade at the French Riviera with her current visit, was an absolute stunner at a photo call for her upcoming film, ‘Jazbaa’.

Currently in Cannes, she has been slaying us with her fashion choices. But her latest look at the 68th Cannes Film Festival was the best.

The fashion report for India’s Cannes veterans this year appears to consist of a binary formula – Ralph & Russo, and Elie Saab. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor made two appearances on the red carpet and both wore an outfit by each designer.

Just when we thought that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had given her best look at Cannes this year in an oxblood colour strapless Oscar de la Renta gown, the former beauty queen pleasantly surprised all her fans back home.

For her second red carpet look on Wednesday, Aishwarya picked a white Ralph & Russo dress made up of architectural folds, the bodice sprinkled with black.

She left her hair open in soft curls and ditched the dark lip colour for a nude shade this time and dazzled in star shaped diamond earrings and rings.

Before walking the red carpet, Aishwarya wrote: “On my way to the red carpet! Every girl is a princess! Because we’re worth it! 🙂 xxAsh #HackTheCannes #AishwaryaTakesOver.”

She wore a green Elie Saab gown for her first red carpet appearance, then wore a gorgeous Sabyasachi number for the UN Panel discussion for gender equality, her black Ferragamo dress which she wore when she was out and about at Cannes was perfection and the scarlet Oscar De La Renta gown made her look like a Disney princess. But she hit it out of the park with her latest appearance, as she wore a flaming hot Georges Chakra couture gown for the press interviews. Not only is the outfit form-flattering on Ash.
