A car exploded outside a Shiite mosque in Saudi Arabia during Friday prayers, witnesses said, the second such blast in a week after a suicide bombing claimed by jihadists killed 21 people.
A vehicle parked outside the mosque in the Shiite-populated city of Dammam on the Gulf coast exploded during the weekly prayers sermon, one of the witnesses, Nassima al-Sada, told AFP, adding there were casualties.
