Shashi Shekhar appointed Secy, Ministry of Water Resources

News Delhi: President Pranab Mukherjee has appointed Shashi Shekhar as Secretary, Ministry of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation on Tuesday with effect from forenoon of June 05, 2015.

He is an IAS of batch 1981.

Earlier Anuj Kumar Bishnoi, an IAS of batch 1981 was Secretary to this Ministry who has been appointed as Secretary, Department of Fertilizers.
