Intel launches Remote Keyboard for android

Washington: Intel has launched a free Android app that lets user’s use their phone as a keyboard and track-pad for their PC.

Intel Remote Keyboard was designed for use with mini PCs, but users can use it on any system running Windows 7 or 8, says reports.

For app to work, download the android app and install the companion desktop software. When user devices are on the same Wi-Fi network, Intel Remote Keyboard will detect their PC automatically.

The app supports both portrait and landscape modes and includes an on-screen keyboard and a track-pad with a scroll bar.

Users can move their finger along the empty space to control cursor, tap to left-click and tap with two fingers to right-click. User should swipe their finger on the scroll bar to scroll.

The app works for both PC-on-a-stick and laptop.
