Lalu calls for Bihar bandh today

Date:

Patna: Demanding the release of caste census figures by the NDA Government, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav has called for a state-wide bandh in Bihar on Monday.

The former Bihar Chief Minister on Sunday observed a day’s fast to protest against the non-disclosure of the caste census report.

Lalu earlier accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of insulting the ‘blood of Bihar’ through his DNA remark on Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

Prime Minister Modi had earlier said there was something wrong with Kumar’s political DNA that led him to ditch friends who once worked with him.
