Go yo on the chores!

Oh, do you just wake up and cringe going in the direction of the kitchen, the sink overflowing with dishes piled up magically one on top of the other? Oh,oh, look at the laundry bag on the verge of bursting with dirty clothes! And the floor, oh let’s not even get there!

Household chores can be quite a handful, you know, especially if you are the one who’s responsible. So, one needs to get this monkey off the back, might as well make it fun!

 

Cooking

Go experiment! If you treat those utensils as your enemies, they’ll bay for your blood. So, make them your weapons and fire away with those oh-so-amazing dishes! Cooking can be fun, you know, just don’t be scared to try something new. And yes, have a guinea pig handy!

 

Dishes!

This one’s pretty tricky. I know, I know, dirty dishes can be a real pain, but once you scrub off that grime and oil and other stuff, try and look at your face in the shiny, squeaky clean dishes. There you go, beautiful, you are now fully recharged to do the remain 49 dishes!

 

Floor-ed!

Do a jig, some rumba, some salsa while cleaning off that dust from the floor. Use your broom as a prop and let creativity take over. And viola, the floor will be spotless even before you realise! Now, all you have to do is pick up the mop and you’re done in no time!

 

Laundry

The only way you can inspire yourself enough to do the laundry is by telling yourself that the beautiful dress you need is in there and there’s no way you can’t NOT wear it. And look at how you’re full of motivation. Also, if you;re angry with someone, bash the clothes and let of some anger! Cool, no!

 

With so much inspiration in place, perhaps you could utilise this weekend to tick off some of those long pending chores that you’d sort of brushed under the carpet! You go!!
