Sachin, SRK to speak at International Advertising Association summit

Date:

The International Advertising Association’s India chapter will see top brass of the marketing and advertising world, as well as brand icons like Sachin Tendulkar and Shahrukh Khan sharing their views and opinion.

Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar and Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan will share their experiences as brand custodians in a three-day summit organised by International Advertising Association (India chapter) as part of its silver jubilee celebrations.

The summit, to be organised between September 3 and 5, will bring together the best minds in marketing and advertising, as well as icons who have been part of the growth of many brands, organisers said on Friday.

“Under the overall theme of ‘What’s Coming Next’ of IAA Global, this summit will have sub theme of ‘Change is shaping the Future’. This will probably be the largest event ever in the field of marketing and communications in Kerala,” President of India chapter of IAA Srinivasan Swamy said.

He said both Tendulkar and Shah Rukh have confirmed their participation.

“They will talk about their experiences as brand custodians rather than about films or cricket,” Swamy said. He said 11 eminent personalities from different parts of the globe will also address the summit.

MV Sreyams Kumar, Managing Committee member, IAA India chapter, said Kochi would provide “a great platform and exposure to our advertising, and marketing fraternity students and academia.”

“The participants will get a first-hand experience in gaining knowledge and experience on the changing landscape and reshaping the future of the advertising industry,” he said.
