Sheena Bora is Indrani’s daughter. Yes, the same Indrani Mukerjea, founder of 9X media and wife of former Star India CEO Peter Mukerjea, who was accused of murdering her sister.
But turns out that Sheena Bora wasn’t just murdered, she was allegedly murdered by her mother. It had always been murky, but this murky, no one knew. According to reports in Times Now, quoting Mikhail, Sheena’s brother who confirmed that, “Sheena who died in 2012 was Indrani’s daughter,”
Sheena Bora was born and brought up in Guwahati. Her friends recalled her as a peppy girl, and said that no one would have had any reason to murder her. One of her friends disclosed that she had been missing since 2012, Indrani claiming that she had gone abroad to work. Since then, there had been no news from her end, the latest and last one coming of her death.

Her brother, Mikhail Bora, who lives in Guwahati with his grandparents, while talking to a news channel, spoke about Sheena and her tumultuous relationship with Indrani. Sheena had completed her schooling in Guwahati, but had moved to Bombay for her higher studies. After completing her St Xavier’s stint, she got a job with Reliance in Mumbai as an HR manager, and had last come to Guwahati for her friend’s wedding.
After that, in 2012, there was no word from her. His questions were always met with the same answer: that she was in the US, working. While Indrani maintains that Sheena, is in fact, her sister, Mikhail said he has nothing to say, as it could be proved medically that Indrani is their biological mother. He also said that he wants justice, as to why his sister, close to him, was murdered.
Meanwhile, Peter Mukherjea said: “Indrani told me Sheena is in the US and showed me Facebook pictures. So, I had no reason to doubt my wife.”
“I am only hearing now that Sheena is her daughter and she also has a son. I am really finding it hard to process this. I am really shocked to hear this. I have not experienced anything like this before,” he added.
“My son, who was in a relationship with Sheena, told me that Sheena was Indrani’s daughter, but I did not believe him.”
Peter Mukherjea had met Sheena Bora a few times, and Sheena Bora had also maintained that she was Indrani Mukerjea’s sister. Peter trusted his wife.
In fact, Sheena was in a relationship with his son. Mikhail Bora, Indrani’s son, was introduced to Peter as Indrani’s brother.
