Indo-Swiss pair of Sania Mirza and Martina Hingis continued their brilliant run this season to clinch the Guangzhou International Women’s Open title on Saturday.
The top-seeded pair defeated the unseeded Chinese pair of Shilin Xu-Xiaodi You 6-3, 6-1.
The pair took just an hour and 12 minutes to beat Israeli-Swedish combination of Julia Glushko and Rebecca Peterson 6-3, 6-4 in the semifinal on the outdoor hard courts of the Guangzhou International Tennis Center.

With this win, Sania claimed her seventh title of the season. She has won five titles with Hingis this season, including US Open and Wimbledon. They also won three titles in row at the start of the partnership – Indian Wells, Miami and Charleston.
Sania had won her first title of the 2015 season with Bethanie Mattek-Sands in Sydney.
