Seems like Downton Abbey’s biggest secret for its season six just got revealed as the producers of the show have accidentally disclosed which characters will get married in the last season.
The top secret wedding ceremony was filmed at the village church in Bampton, Oxfordshire in July, but after the shoot got over a member of the public found mocked up paperwork that includes the order of service, opening prayers and vows.
An insider revealed that the pamphlet detailed that Earl of Grantham Robert Crawley’s daughter Lady Edith Crawley (played by Laura Carmichael) will tie the knot to a man named Herbert.
Talking about the marriage, the source said that the cast and crew have gone to great lengths to hide the storylines for the sixth and final series but their stupid mistake has opened up all their secrets.
