New Delhi: Police beating an man is quite common scene, but national capital on Wednesday witnessed something total opposite scenario. A traffic constable was allegedly beaten up by a drunk rickshaw-puller in east Dehi’s Madhu Vihar area.
The incident was reported around 6.30 PM when the constable, who was on duty, saw the rickshaw-puller allegedly abusing women on the road.
When the constable tried to stop him, the rickshaw-puller allegedly thrashed him, a senior officer said.
A case was registered and the rickshaw puller was arrested.
The accused was too drunk to give a statement or even disclose his identity, the officer added.
