A 4-year-old boy was allegedly kidnapped from an Anganwadi centre in Faridkot, police said today.
The incident came to light when parents of Yuvraj Singh, resident of Jaitu town here, came to the day care centre to take him home yesterday.
A worker at the centre told them that a man who identified himself as their relative took the boy along with him. He told the workers that the boy’s parents could not come as they had to attend a function somewhere, police said. Police said teams have been dispatched to trace the child.
