NewsMobile founder to speak at BRICS media forum in Moscow

Date:

Young Indian startups are now increasingly championing the cause of brand India at global multilateral forums.

Senior journalist Saurabh Shukla, who launched his tech-media start up NewsMobile and NewsMobile Asia, was invited by the BRICS (the organisation of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) to speak in Moscow on how Startups and digital media can bridge the gap and contribute to development in BRICS countries.

The session on October 8 is a part of the meeting of the multi-lateral organisations where top editors and media owners will brainstorm on the ways to enhance cooperation amongst the media outlets of these countries.

These meetings are being held following a decision by the BRICS summit in Ufa in July 2015 where Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was also present and agreed to further cooperation between media entities of BRICS countries. Russia holds the current chair of the BRICS summit.
