New Delhi: So there is another update for WhatsApp and this time it’ll come with a new feature that will make things easier for the users.
WhatsApp has introduced a new ‘Starred message’ feature which lets users bookmark a message in a chat to enable user to search for an old/important message easily.
Currently the new update is only available in iOS.
WhatsApp iOS users with version 2.12.7 will be able to see the new feature when they long-press on a message and a star will appear next to the message. To see the starred message separately, one need to go into chat info and tap on Starred messages option.
Pressing on the star, will let a user bookmark the message in a chat. The option can be particularly useful for group chats, in a case a user quickly wants to scroll down to a particular message.
WhatsApp may roll out the new update to Android and Windows Phone soon.
