New Delhi: Disney’s maiden stage production is all set in India with its Academy award-winning animated feature ‘Beauty and the Beast’ premier in Mumbai on October 23 and December 18 in Delhi.
But this is not all. According to reports, Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who has lent his voice for Pro Kabaddi League, will do the same for ‘Beauty and the Beast’.
Disney India has put this together with local talent, who are working closely with international artists to recreate the musical in India.
Disney’s creative team has hand-picked 18 talented lead artists who can sing, dance and act from over 8,000 entries after over 1,000 physical auditions across five cities – Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai and Kolkata.
