London: ‘Rap God’ Eminem, who is considered as an icon in the world of Hip-Hop, turns 43 on Saturday.
The Detroit rapper started his career as a rapper but later tried his hands on producing music as well.
As a teenager, the ‘Not Afraid’ hit-maker competed in open-mike contests at the Hip-Hop Shop, the heart of the city’s rap scene.
He also grabbed an Academy Award for his role as an underdog rapper in ‘8 Mile’.
Eminem has also made cameo appearances in the films The Wash (2001), Funny People (2009), The Interview (2014) and the television series ‘Entourage’.
