#BiharPolls : Modi’s poll blitzkrieg in Bettiah

Date:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday addressed a rally in the Sitamarhi district of Bihar and now he is addressing a rally in Bettiah, where assembly elections are being held in five phases.

Here are the key highlights:

PM Modi: I congratulate the EC, people in Bihar and especially women for voting in huge numbers in earlier two phases of Bihar polls.

PM Modi: This year Bihar will celebrate 2 Diwalis one on 11 November and the other one on counting day on November8.

PM Modi: Its development vs unholy nexus in Bihar.

PM Modi: Transactions of lakhs of rupees are taking place in front of cameras, why is Sonia Gandhi not speaking about it?

PM Modi: Nation’s PM is there for everyone.

Earlier in his rally in Sitamarhi, Modi said that development was the only solution to all the problems of Bihar. “Make ‘vikas’ your choice to take Bihar forward.

Modi also said that today was an auspicious day for him because he has reached Mata Sitamadhi’s home. “Today is Valmiki Jayanti and hundreds of people have come here to support me. It is a matter of pride that I got to meet all of you. Today is Valmiki Jayanti.. may Mata Sita grant us her blessings,” he said.

“It has been 16 months.. and I haven’t taken a single leave. For me, this satta is sewa-yagya where I am on duty all the time.. Even if my sewa (service) doesn’t reflect on TV or in newspapers.. I can still see it here in the crowds. This election will decide the fate of Bihar
You have to decide whom to trust for your future.” he added.

He said that if there is anything that can change your future, it is development. “On one hand there is development, on the other there is opportunism. The solution for all problems in Bihar, is not Modi, but development.”
