One jawan has been killed in an ongoing encounter between the security forces and militants here in Bandipora District of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday.
Three militants are believed to be hiding in the area.
According to reports, the encounter had started at around 4.45 pm after a joint team of army and police launched an anti-militancy operation in Buthoo forests following the information about presence of militants.
