UP roadways bus conductor looted at gunpoint

Muzaffarnagar: A UP roadways bus conductor was allegedly robbed of Rs 25,000 by a group of four armed men who had barged into the vehicle that was heading towards Haridwar.

A gang of four persons broke into a Uttar Pradesh roadways bus yesterday and looted the passengers of money and valuables at pistol point, police said.

The bus conductor was robbed of a bag containing Rs 25,000 by the unidentified assailants, they said.

The vehicle was on its way from Delhi and was heading to Haridwar, police said.

A case has been registered against unidentified persons in the incident, they said, adding that search is on to nab the culprits.
