Date:

Bengalur: Rain continued to dampen the second Test between India and South Africa as bad weather washed out the entire third day’s play here on Monday. The play was called off without a ball being bowled.

With wet weather washing out play on Day 2 as well, the M Chinnaswamy stadium has witnessed just 81 overs of play on the opening day.

India were 80 for no loss in response to the visitors score of 214 all out in the first innings.

If weather permits, the match will start at 9:15 am tomorrow.

Shikhar Dhawan (45) and Murali Vijay (28) will resume India’s first innings whenever play begins.
