Deepika, Ranbir’s #TrainmeinTamasha concludes in Delhi

Date:

Actors Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor along with director Imtiaz Ali decided to ditch the convenient flight service and rediscovered the joys of Indian railways by boarding a train from Mumbai to the capital for the promotion of their forthcoming film ‘Tamasha’.

It could have been a filmy scene from Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor starrer Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, or even their director Imtiaz Ali’s earlier film Jab We Met.
“Aannndddd the journey begins!!! #Tamasha27thNovember #jimitstshirttore!,” Deepika tweeted on Sunday.

Stepping their feet in Delhi, Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, along with Imtiaz Ali, have completed their train journey, which was planned to promote their upcoming flick ‘Tamasha.’
The trio was given a warm welcome at the Delhi railway station by fans and media.

According to reports, the Tamasha crew was meant to have travelled by air, but that plans changed after Deepika recently spoke about how she hadn’t taken a train in ages and wanted to. She has Ranbir to thank for making all the arrangements – the flight tickets to Delhi were canceled and what would have been a couple of hours in midair turned into a fabulous PR exercise through the night.

During the journey, the 28-year-old actress treated the cast with a special treat and she also revealed that this is her second firs-class compartment journey as she was unable to afford such expensive tickets during her badminton days.

Tamasha will hit the screens on November 27.
