Alia is the Trendsetter of the Year
Known for setting trends with her style sense, Alia Bhatt was recently awarded with the Trendsetter of the Year award. The 22-year-old actress wore a black and white dress by Georges Chakra, which was complimented by her Jimmy Choo pumps.
Sonakshi bags Fashion Reinvention Award
Meanwhile, Actress Sonakshi Sinha, who donned a red fish tail gown designed by Monisha Jaising, grabbed the Fashion Reinvention Award.
Timeless Glamour and Style Icon Award for Rekha
Known for her flawless beauty, Rekha was awarded with the Timeless Glamour and Style Icon award. While receiving the award, the 61-year-old actress said, “I hope I live in hearts of my fans timelessly.”
Athiya Shetty makes her ‘Debut’
Bollywood new-bee Athiya Shetty also won the Fashion Debut of the Year award. The ‘Hero’ star wore a black and gold gown designed by Amanda Wakeley for the event.
‘Style and substance’ define Sonam
It was a one plus one treat for Sonam Kapoor, who is known for her chic and classy fashion sense, as she won the Style and Substance Award and the title of Stylish Star at the 2015 Filmfare Style Awards.
The 30-year-old actress wore an off-shoulder red gown designed by Michael Inco for the event.
Sonam received the first award herself, but her Stylish Star award was collected by Ranveer Singh on her behalf.
Later, the ‘Khoobsurat’ star took to her Instagram and shared a picture of herself with her girl pals Jacqueline Fernandez, Alia Bhatt and Athiya Shetty, captioning it, “Most fun table in the room.”
Shahrukh, the ‘Global Icon’
Shah Rukh Khan has always been a global icon for his fans and the 2015 Filmfare Style Awards have put a stamp on it this year.
The 50-year-old actor was awarded with the Global Icon of the Year award and while receiving the award Shah Rukh said that he felt really cool because Alia Bhatt and Sonam Kapoor gave him a standing ovation.
The ‘Dilwale’ star also received the Most Glamourous Star award which was presented to him by the veteran actress Rekha.
