Suburban parts of Chennai and other areas of Tamil Nadu received worst ever rain in a century on Tuesday night.The excessive rains have forced the state government to release water from overflowing reservoirs and lakes around the city. People from across the country are lending their support to Chennai and praying for the residents who are currently battling the crisis.
