Thiruvanthapuram: Vodafone has expanded its 4G services in Kerala, touching 10 towns in the state.
Starting its 4G roll out in the country from Kerala, Vodafone had last week launched the services in the state’s commercial hub — Kochi and then in some other towns.
The firm has extended 4G services in Thiruvananthapuram. With this, 10 towns in the state have been brought under the 4G network, Suresh Kunar, operations director — South, Vodafone India said.
State chief secretary, Jiji Thomson, who was the chief guest at the launching function, said efforts were on to make Kerala cabinet an e-cabinet, but did not elaborate.
He said Kerala would soon be declared the first digital state in the country.
