The car that you need to buy: Ford Mustang GT

Date:

We have all watched the Fast and Furious series and for those of us who haven’t, the Ford Mustang GT model is something that we are well acquainted with. A model that has defined a generation in the automobile industry, we are pleased to inform you that it has finally arrived in India.

After a struggle of almost 50 years, the car is available in the country at a price of  Rs 65 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Ford Motors sold close to 1,10,000 Mustangs in 2015 globally, topping all other sports coupè competitors.  It is not about age but about passion. And the Mustang will bring that passion out as much in a 25-year-old as a 55-year-old, the report says.

Mustang is being offered in six colours – Race Red, Black, Triple Yellow Tri-coat, Magnetic, Oxford White and Ingot Silver. Well the needless to say, each colour suits the American muscle. The car is equipped with selectable driving modes from a six-way adjustable driver seat, automatic projector headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, heated and powered outside rear view mirrors, and passenger seats with power lumbar support.
Indian petrol heads can rejoice since India gets the Ti-VCT V8 variant which pumps out 401PS power and 515Nm of torque. All that is left for is to let this American muscle get a taste of Indian turf!
