When Tomorrowland Music Festival let you test your Drugs for Purity

Date:

Recreational drugs have been an issue of great concern worldwide. While some states around the world have legalised registered amount of these drugs for recreational purposes, most states still haven’t legalised them. The supply of drugs is undoubtedly rampant in music festivals.

There it is not surprising that Tomorrowland, one of the world’s largest EDM festivals, is also one of the biggest ground for drug dealers and consumers. While it is up to the government to decide about the legality and consumption of these drugs, this time Tomorrowland allowed people to get their drugs tested before consumption.

A non-profit organization called The Loop manned a tent where partygoers could drop off their drugs anonymously, before returning later for the results at the Secret Garden Party, a Cambridgeshire bash on July 21st-24th, a non-profit organisation.

We do not know if this would encourage more drug use or not, but according to reports from the NGO many of the consumers reported post-result that they would not consume the drugs and try to locate the drug dealers who sold adulterated material to them.

This certainly is a different angle towards one of the highly debated issues in the world today!
