Gurgaon: Following the traffic menace in the Millennium city since Thursday evening due to heavy rains, the price for the chaos has been paid by city Police Commissioner Navdeep Singh Virk as he has been transferred to Rohtak.
Sandeep Khirawar has been asked to take over as the new Commissioner of Police in Gurgaon.
The district administration has enforced section 144 and some schools in the affected areas have been ordered shut, but the woes of residents who end up paying heavy taxes continues unabated. Gurgaon Police advised over twitter to the commuters of Gurgaon from Delhi to stay back.
