National Integration tour for elderly women from Jammu and Kashmir

A national integration tour was organised by Indian Army from Jammu and Kashmir’s Ladakh district. These 15 elderly women hail from Nubra Valley, were taken to Chandigarh, Dharamshala, Rivalsar and back.
It was flagged off from village Sasoma by Commander Siachen Brigade.
The families of the participants were excited for the event, they see it as an opportunity to see the culture and heritage of other parts of the country.
