Itanagar, Aug 17 (PTI) The Arunachal Pradesh government Itanagar, Aug 17 (PTI) The Arunachal Pradesh governmentwill formulate a policy and come up with a mechanism tostreamline sports affairs in the state. “Evolving a policy is vital for promotion and over alldevelopment of sports in the state,” Chief Minister PemaKhandu said during a meeting with the executive members ofArunachal Olympic Association (AOA) here yesterday. Khandu said the state needed to develop a standardformat for selection of players where the three stakeholders –Department of Sports & Youth Affairs, Sports Authority ofArunachal and Arunachal Olympic Association – must function intandem and a coordination meeting at his office for thepurpose would be called shortly, a CMO release said heretoday.
