CJI Thakur arrives in Shimla on 3-day visit

Shimla, Aug 18 (PTI) Chief Justice of India TS Thakurtoday arrived here on a three-day visit during which he willlay the foundation of National Law University and deliver theconvocation address at Himachal Pradesh University. Thakur was accorded a warm welcome at Raj Bhawan byGovernor Acharya Dev Vrat, Chief Justice of Himachal HighCourt Justice Mansoor Ahmad Mir and other judges of the HighCourt, Chief Secretary VC Pharka, DGP Sanjay Kumar and Vicechancellor of HPU Prof ADN Bajpai. During his visit, Thakur would lay the foundation stone ofNational Law University at Ghandal, 14 km from here tomorrowand also inaugurate the Hostel Block of Judicial Academycampus at Ghandal.
