2 sharp shooters arrested for attack on Teotia

Ghaziabad Aug 19 (PTI) Two sharp shooters involved in theattack on senior BJP leader Brijpal Teotia and five othershere have been arrested, police said today. The two shooters identified as Abhishek and Gaurav (bothin mid twenties) were arrested by a joint team of policepersonnel near Guldhar village, Senior Superintendent ofpolice K S Emmanuel said. The duo was arrested following a tip off, he said. Two semi-automatic pistols with cartridges and the motorcycle used in the shooting incident have also been recoveredfrom their possession, he added. Both the youths carry Rs 15,000 reward on their heads,participated in firing , the police officer said. The attack on Teotia took place at Raoli Road underMuradnagar police station in Ghaziabad on August 11 and fivepeople were also injured in the incident. Teotia, who had contested the 2012 Uttar Pradesh Assemblyelection from Muradnagar constituency, was on his way toGhaziabad when the incident occurred. PTI CORR MRJ ZMNMRJ
