Patna, Aug 19 (PTI) BJP MP Shatrughan Sinha today tookrecourse to his talent in theatre to attack his own party andleaders using a political satire. The play at the S K Memorial Hall in Sinha’s constituencyPatna Saheb unfolded in the presence of Bihar Chief MinisterNitish Kumar and his ally RJD chief Lalu Prasad. However,there were no BJP leaders in attendance. The Bollywood actor turned BJP MP and his team hostedthe play "Pati, Patni aur Mein" (Husband, wife and me). Directed by Ramesh Talwar and written by Manohar Katdare,the play featured Rakesh Bedi, Dimple Danda and SanjayGoradia, besides Sinha. The nearly two-hour long play is a satire on contemporarypolitics and politicians including many from BJP itself. Playing the lead role as presenter, Sinha laced hisdialogue with one-liners that triggered peals of laughter fromthe audience. Sinha, popularly known as "Bihari Babu", the secondconsecutive term Lok Sabha member from Patna Saheb, has beenat odds with BJP since Bihar poll at the fag end of last yearafter party leaders ignored him in the elections. A close associate of veteran BJP leader L K Advani,Sinha has taken several potshots at his own party throughdisplay of bonhomie with "friend" Nitish Kumar and RJDpresident Lalu Prasad leaving his party leaders embarrassed. Recently a biography of Sinha was released by NitishKumar in presence of Lalu Prasad. None of the Bihar BJPleaders were present in the book release function.
