New Delhi, Aug 22 (PTI) In the wake of continuous unrestin the Kashmir Valley, the Centre today rushed 2,600 additionalparamilitary forces to Jammu and Kashmir. Twenty-six companies (100 personnel in each company) ofBorder Security Force are being dispatched to trouble-tornareas in the state for maintaining law and order, officialsources said. These forces are being drawn from Gujarat, Rajasthan andWest Bengal and they are expected to reach the Valley in a dayor two. Besides, an additional 30 companies of the force are alsoexpected to be sent to the state in next few days after theirwithdrawal from the Amarnath Yatra duties, sources said. Kashmir Valley has been witnessing unrest after thekilling of Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist Burhan Wani 45 days ago.
