New Delhi, Aug 22 (PTI) A 12-year-old boy died after hefell from the roof of a government school in Trilokkuri areaof east Delhi while flying kite, even as his parents allegednegligence on the part of school authorities, police saidtoday. Sahil, a student of class VI, fell from the roof of thebuilding while flying kite along with his friends on August17. He was rushed to LBS Hospital in a critical conditionwhere he succumbed to injuries the next day, a police officersaid. During investigation it was learnt that the boy did notattend the classes that day and was flying kite after theschool was over, police said. "We are investigating the case covering allegations ofnegligence on the part of the school authorities by the boy’sparents," the officer said. His parents have alleged that the roof of the schoolbuilding did not have a wall. Construction work is going on inthe school premises and children were freely coming and goingout.
