GST ratification main agenda of monsoon session: AP minister

Kakinada (AP), Aug 24 (PTI) Passage of the GSTconstitutional amendment ratification bill would be the chiefagenda of the monsoon session of Andhra Pradesh legislature,to start from September 8, the state finance minister YanamalaRamakrishnudu said today. Speaking to reporters at Amalapuram, he said earlierthere was a proposal to hold the session at Amaravathi, theupcoming new capital city, but as GST bill was to be ratifiedexpeditiously, the session would be held at Hyderabad. GST bill will be hopefully ratified on September 8 itselfwith the support of all the parties, he said. Earlier, Ramakrishnudu and Deputy Chief Minister NChinarajappa unveiled the statue of the late former ministerMetla Satyanarayana at Komaragiripatnam in Allavaram mandal,and inaugurated NTR Sujala water supply scheme at MetlaRamurthy Primary Cooperative society.
