One dead as bikes collide and catch fire

Khandwa (MP), Aug 25 (PTI) A person was today charred todeath and two others, including a youth hailing from SaudiArabia, sustained severe burn injuries in an explosion and firewhich followed a collision between two motorbikes here. The victim was identified as Rajendra Bhidwa, a residentof Beed in Maharashtra, Inspector of Jawar police station, B PAwasthi said. Bhidwa was riding a bike which ran into the other bike,which Seena (22) and Nidha (19) from Mumbai and Osama (17) fromSaudi Arabia were riding. The accident took place on Mundiroad, 10 km from here. Seena and Osama sustained severe burn injuries, Awasthisaid. They have been admitted to a hospital. Nidha escaped unhurt. The trio were going to Hanuvantia, a tourist spot, whileBhidwa was heading for Khandwa. According to the eye-witnesses, the collision was somassive that it caused an explosion in which both bikes flewinto the air and turned into balls of fire. Further probe is underway in the matter.
